Plan of Study 2021-2022
The following is a plan of requirements to complete this Associate of Science degree in 5 semesters. Each student’s experience will vary slightly, as this plan does not include transfer work, Advanced Placement (AP), or other institutions’ concurrent enrollment credits. Math and English placement will be based on the student’s appropriate placement scores. If developmental courses are required, they should be taken in the student’s first semester.
NOTE: This plan assumes the student is prepared to take the courses listed. If prerequisites are required, additional semesters may be required to complete this degree.
Meet with the Academic Program Advisor and consult DegreeWorks for specific degree requirements.

Advising Notes
Students are strongly encouraged to take ENGL 1010 and their QL course during their first semester. Students are also strongly encouraged to take COMM 1130 and COMM 1800 prior to other required COMM courses as they are prerequisite courses for other required COMM courses. It is the student’s responsibility to examine each course description for details of prerequisite classes. Those prerequisites must be satisfied before the designated class may be taken. Students may use COMM 1500 , COMM 1560 , or COMM 2110 to fulfill their CM General Education requirement. Students should check the current class schedule for availability of courses at all sites for day/evening availability and for modification caused by varying enrollments.
*Total number of General Education credits, required credits, and the total number of elective credits must equal 61 or greater.
