General Education (with some specific choices), EDU 1010, EDU 2011, EDU 2030, EDU 2110, EDU 2140, EDU 2150, EDU 2410, ENGL 1200, ETHS 2410 or ETHS 2420 or ETHS 2430 or ETHS 2440 or HUMA 2220, FHS 1500, FHS 2640, FHS 2645. MATH 1050 is a pre-requisite for MATH 4010 at the U of U and must be less than two years old. Classes may need to be passed with a certain grade, meet with the Education Academic Advisor for further information.
UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY - Elementary Education GRADES K-6, Pre-K-8, or 1-8
General Education (with some specific choices), EDU 1010, FHS 1500, FHS 2600*/0010, FHS 2610/0011, MATH 1050, MATH 2010 AND MATH 2020. For Pre-K- 8 & grades 1-8 take the above classes as well as HLTH 1200. *FHS 2600/0010 not needed for grades 1-8 licensure. Classes may need to be passed with a certain grade, meet with the Education Academic Advisor for further information. USU requires each student to have teacher support classes & an emphasis area, there are additional SLCC courses that can transfer to fulfill those. WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY - Elementary Education GRADES K-6
General Education (with some specific choices), Art 1020 (fulfills FA @ SLCC), COMM 1020 (fulfills Student Choice @ SLCC) or COMM 2110 (fulfills ID @ SLCC), GEOG 1300 (Fulfills ID @ SLCC), EDU 1010, EDU 2010, EDU 2110, ENGL 2330, FHS 1500, FHS 2610/0011, FHS 2620/0010, MATH 2010, MATH 2020. Weber requires each student to have an area of specialization, there are additional SLCC courses that can transfer to fulfill those. UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY - Elementary Education GRADES K-6
General Education (with some specific choices), B- or higher in the following courses: EDU 1010, EDU 2010 or EDU 1400 or EDU 2011, EDU 2140, ENGL 2330, MATH 2010 w/C or higher, and MATH 2020 w/C- or higher.
